someone once said “yesterday i was a dog, today i am a dog, tomorrow i will be a dog, there seems little room for improvement”
this says it better – clever and moving words, a blog well worth following

Yesterday I woke up and thought that today would be a bit different.
The day before I thought the same thing.
Tomorrow I will most likely think it again.
Although it would be nice to not, think it.

It would be nice to have had it been the day before yesterday.
And felt that today will be like tomorrow.  Which would have taken its cue from yesterday.
The day after tomorrow may have to wait, for it is slightly ahead of itself,
Although it may be able to provide a bit of insight into the days to come.

Perhaps today should take a break and try again when the weather picks up.
Wait for the sun to shine and the ground to clear.
I hear the birds were singing a few days ago.
This is however no indication that things will be getting better.

Best to keep your hat on…

  2. Your dog yesterday, today and tomorrow lines made this story pop in my head – don’t know if it is along the lines of your thought but it gives a choice

WE ALL HAVE TWO WOLVES INSIDE US.

One evening an old Indian told his grandson about a

battle that goes on inside people. He said, “My son, the battle is

between 2 “wolves” inside us all.

One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret,

greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false

    pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility,

kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather:

    “Which wolf wins?”

The old Indian simply replied, “The one you feed.”
