TV
share a winter’s day with me
shiver and chatter
watch frost and hail
share blankets and kisses
and fuel bills
have sex in front of the tv
Hot ice
our hot winter lips
touch, warm our ice crystal breath.
snow melts on your skin.
as dawn draws first breath
the darkness whithers and dies
in the beginning
A polar bear’s willy
Today is as chilly
As a polar bear’s willy.
The sky looks like it could splinter.
Last night I froze
From my tits to my toes.
God, how i love the winter.
The snow went
The snow went
As quick as it came
Leaving carrot noses in puddles
and a few broken bones
in its wake
Today is beautiful
Today is beautiful.
The temperature is minus ridiculous degrees (Centigrade not Fahrenheit).
The sky is crystal and the wind bites like a shoal of starved piranhas.
A daytime half-moon hangs like a ghost in the sky.
People hunch themselves up against the cold,
but it is the wrong approach;
you should open yourself up to it,
draw your shoulders back and lift your head.
It is only weather.
It was on a day like this exactly five years ago that my wife left me for my best friend.
I still miss him.
